Schneider now leads Wildsmith, still too close to call; Hytopoulos wins

Leslie Schneider reversed Grayson Wildsmith’s election night lead, in which he was ahead in a too-close-to-call 50.1%-48.8% margin in vote counts released today by the Kitsap County Auditor’s office.

Schneider, an incumbent, was behind Wildsmith by 61 votes last night. Tonight, she leads by 183.

Bainbridge Comment continued to see this race as too close to call. A few more days to affirm a trend is required. BC sees this race as leaning to Schenider for reelection.

Kirsten Hytopoulos is now projected the winner of the At Large Seat. Kol Medina has won reelection.

Kisten Hytopoulos increased her lead over Anthony Odd for election in the North Ward. BC now projects Hytopoulos will in.

Incumbent Kol Medina increased his lead over Kevin Fetterly in the Central Ward. BC projected Medina as the winner last night.

Leslie Schneider reversed the election night lead of Grayson Wildsmith and now leads, but it’s still too close to call. Michael Pollock unseated incumbent Sarah Blossom.

Michael Pollock increased his lead by more than 200 votes in the South Ward. BC projected him as the winner last night, ousting incumbent Sarah Blossom after two terms.

I-976: $30 Car Tabs

It appears the Tim Eyman Initiative to reduce car tab fees to $30 will pass.

On Day 2, approval is running 55% statewide. Kitsap County was approving the Initiative with a vote of 53%.

If approved when the final votes are tallied, this will cost Bainbridge between $400,000 to $600,000 a year.
